We evaluate a child’s need for orthodontic treatment during a routine exam. Some children will require an early interceptive treatment such as:

• Space maintainers to keep the space available for the future permanent tooth if the baby tooth was removed early
• Retainers
• Orthodontic uprighting
• Full bracket metal braces

Our DFC pediatric dentists focus on creating space maintainers and other treatments are normally referred to the orthodontists.
