Office Visits

We understand that your family has a busy schedule, so when you're preparing for a dental visit, please remember that the average appointment takes between 20 and 40 minutes.

If this is your first visits, please come 10 minutes early to fill out the new patient history form. Specifically we will need xrays if previously taken, referral slips if given, and insurance information.

Your first visit is all about your kid – their comfort, happiness, and health. At any point we are always happy to answer any questions that you and your kids may have.

During your child’s first visit, we will:

  • Review their dental and medical history forms
  • Take X-rays of their teeth and mouth
  • The doctor will meet with you and your child to discuss the X-rays
  • Work with you to create an individual treatment plan
  • Exam and cleaning*

*Although the first visit is typically to acclimate the child, If your child is comfortable one of our hygienists will clean and polish their teeth, checking for any cavities or early signs of tooth decay or gingivitis.

Regular checkups are an important part of maintaining a healthy smile!

The Canadian Dental Association recommends that children visit the dentist every six months for regular checkups and routine teeth cleanings to keep their teeth and gums healthy.
