Meet Dr. Yili Wang

Dr. Yili obtained her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia in 2012. Her love for treating children led her to complete a residency program at The Hospital for Sick Children and subsequently her Masters degree and specialty training in paediatric dentistry at the University of Toronto. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Dr. Yili focuses on using tailored behaviour guidance techniques to promote a positive dental experience for the child, and equally important, the family. She is experienced in treating kids with special needs and is a paediatric staff dentist at Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. She is also fluent in Mandarin. Dr. Yili has also taken part in numerous overseas dental outreach trips to serve underprivileged children. She has also lectured internationally on her thesis on malformed first permanent molars.

Former Markham resident, Dr. Yili now lives with her husband in Oakville and greatly enjoys the vibrant and friendly community that always seem to have something new to offer. During her spare time, she loves to be active, especially outdoors, hiking or cycling. She also loves taking on art projects using various mediums and experimenting in the kitchen.
